From warehouse parties to national radio to the Carnival, our man Norman is a true house music pioneer. Incredibly, May 25th will be the first boat party he’s played in ten years! See more from Norman at www.normanjay.com One of the freshest, most exciting DJs to emerge on the house music scene in recent years, James will be bringing his unique brand of technical wizardry to the Dixie Queen¹s dancefloor on July 5th. We can't wait! He’s the Jazz man who defines the word ‘eclectic’, a dance industry legend with an incredible ear for a tune. But above everything else, he’s a fantastic DJ. And he’s gracing the Dixie Queen’s decks on August 2nd. Pyrotechnics, London landmarks and the Dixie Queen – combinations don’t get better than that. Factor in a world famous DJ & our November 1st party is really going to go off. From a small bar in Islington to a Gallery residency, then the Thames and over 10 boat parties in five years, if it weren’t for Refresh, there’d be no Embarc. Respect. Here at Embarc, we’ve got one very simple aim – to give you a genuinely different clubbing experience. There’s no bigger boat party in the UK and with sets from the world’s biggest DJs, you’re in for something special. The UK’s largest party vessel, the Dixie Queen is a replica of a Mississippi paddleboat, and was the most popular cruising nightclub in Stockholm before finding its home here in 2002. The Dixie Queen features two sun decks – one at the front, one at the rear – making loads of outdoor space from which you can enjoy the sun and London’s damn good exterior. This is where it all happens! The Dixie Queen’s dancefloor is the biggest of any party boat and even features a raised dancing area for the girls (or boys!). Climb up the spiral staircase from the entrance, past the chandelier and onto the Top Deck and you’ll be greeted by a huge bar. There’s another on the ground floor too. With Tower Bridge opening up to let us through, there’s no more impressive way to start a party! From there, we’ll cruise past Canary Wharf and the Millennium Dome before returning to Tower Pier. With over 30 years of collective DJing and promoting 'experience', Embarc residents Steve Budd, Georgie Blyth and Sam Hardy will make sure you’re in safe hands.
