We knew it. Tickets have been flying for the Embarc Halloween and Fireworks Boat Party with Danny Rampling on 1 November. On Friday, we passed the 100 ticket mark, which should signal the end of our earlybird tickets. But we’ve decided to put another 50 earlybirds on sale, so you still have a chance to get your ticket for £20 instead of £25/27. Be quick, as these will shift in the next seven days.

Oww here's the front of the flyer>>
Gilles Peterson finished off a stunning series of summer boat parties, bringing his worldwide sound to the decks of the Dixie Queen. With the sun shining and the skies filled by stunt planes from the nearby Red Bull Air Race, it was certainly an afternoon to remember on the Thames!
As you might expect from the eclectic selector, Gilles’ set weaved from soul to jazz right up to present day house, ticking off classic tunes like Marvin Gaye's 'I heard it through the grapevine' and 'Wishing you were here' by Blaze along the way. And he ended the afternoon by going completely off beam and dropping The Tings Tings – getting a great reaction from the packed crowd.
Roll on November! We'll have an announcement about that later this week...
Thanks to everyone that came down on Saturday for a unique party on the Dixie Queen. It was Gilles Peterson's first set on the Thames for 15 years, and he sure made up for it! Review and photos to follow this week.
Our past two Embarc boat parties have sold out and we expect the same for the Gilles Peterson party on the Dixie Queen. This is one unique experience you don't want to miss out on. Just get yourself a ticket, they're still only £22 and include an afterparty too!

Embarc’s maiden voyage set sail on 25 May – and it was a roaring success! After all the complications of a damaged Dixie Queen, it was a relief to finally hit the Thames with Norman Jay. Managing to catch the only break in the Bank Holiday weather, our two party boats – with 550 people spread between them – lined up in front of Tower Bridge bathed in the sunshine. Norman played an awesome set on both boats, with mix of old and new tunes that only he could blend together. Check out all the pictures here or on Facebook. We’ll have an official Embarc video by the end of the week, but until then, we’re going to whet your appetite with these on Facebook. Cheers to everyone for making it such a great day! See you on the next cruise on 5 July!
